Sing Screenprint
$129.00 NZD
Have you ever heard anyone refer to a Pūkeko as a Purple Swamphen? Or a Grey Warbler as a Riroriro? Why does the Māori name for native New Zealand birds become common for some species, while for others the English name is used? This intrigued me, and this print is the result. This is the second edition of my first print, Sing. The typefaces are all designed by kiwi Joseph Churchward, and the birds, in their Māori and English names, are all New Zealand natives.
Printed in metallic silver and white inks on black Notturno 250gsm stock.
Hand embossed, signed and numbered.
